Privacy Policy
Court & Capital is an invitation-only event series hosted by VI3NNA Congress and AVUS (together, "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you register for an edition or join our list for future editions, why we process it, and the rights you have. Questions? What we collect
When you register for an edition, or join the list to hear about the next one, through the forms on this site, we collect:
- Your name, organisation, and role;
- Your email address;
- For edition registrations: whether you intend to play padel, and who invited you;
- Any note you choose to add for the hosts.
Our server also keeps a minimal technical log (including your IP address) for security and to prevent abuse of the form. We do not build advertising profiles.
Why we process it
We use your details solely to review invitation requests, decide who to invite, manage the guest list, and communicate with you about current and upcoming editions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in organising a curated, invitation-only event series and, where applicable, taking steps at your request prior to attending.
Cookies & analytics
This site uses only what is necessary to function, plus — with your consent — Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, how many people visit). No other tracking is used, and we collect no other data through cookies. You can accept or reject analytics when you first visit, and change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. If you reject, no analytics cookies are set.
Who we share it with
Your data is shared only with:
- The hosts, VI3NNA Congress and AVUS, who review the guest list;
- SendGrid (Twilio), which sends our confirmation, decision and announcement emails on our behalf;
- our hosting provider, Fly.io, which stores the data securely.
We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep registration data for as long as needed to organise the edition concerned and for a short period afterwards, then delete it. If you join the list for future editions, we keep your details until you ask to be removed or the series ends. You may ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@courtandcapital.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde).
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured infrastructure. Access to the guest list is limited to the hosts.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
